I want to send a special prayer request to you this evening. A friend and supporting pastor, Brother Judd Riley, called me this afternoon and asked me to pray and have my friends pray for his wife Joyce. Brother and Mrs. Riley serve at the Ridge View Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. They both came down recently with salmonella and were very ill for a few days. After a couple of days, Brother Riley was back to good health, but Mrs. Joyce could not shake it. She went into the doctor and found out that she not only had salmonella but also had colon cancer. First of all, we praise the Lord that she went to the hospital in God's Divine providence and the problem was discovered. I would like to ask each of you to spend a few minutes praying for Mrs. Riley that the Lord would place His healing hand on her body. Also, please be praying for Brother Riley, he is a dear brother in Christ and has been a great encouragement to me. The Rileys have been serving the Lord for many years faithfully in Colorado and they continue to do so.
